Frequently Asked Questions.

 What is Combo Brow?

C.ombo brows are a cosmetic tattoo that combines microblading and powder brows (shading).  The technique creates a natural look at the front of the brow with hair-like strokes, and a fuller look at the tail with a powdered effect.  The combination of techniques can make brows look fuller and more pigmented than microblading alone.  Combo brows are a good option for people with sparse eyebrows or who want to add definition to their brows.  They can last 2-4 years.

How long does it last?

Permanent makeup is designed to fade over time, but is still considered a tattoo. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, medications and pigment color affect the longevity of the tattoo. Following the aftercare instructions given are critical to getting your best healed results. Touchups are expected every 1 to 3 years.

How much does it cost?

The question you've all been wanting to know. Each client is different and every brow is unique. Some will require different techniques than others however you can expect to spend anywhere from $400-600+ depending on the technique. Please understand that the cheapest isn't always the best, so when your looking for an artist you may want to consider their healed results, not the price range. Keep in mind, corrections cost more. It can be extremally challenging to go over another artists work. Even if you do not choose me to be your artist, please do your research, review and analyze recent photos of their work.

Micropigmentation is not for clients who are:

  • Pregnant or nursing

  • Undergoing chemotherapy

  • Viral infection (diseases),

  • Had Botox within a 2 week period of appointment

  • Sick with a cold or flu-like virus

  • Used Accutane in the past 6 months or skin conditions like psoriasis, dermatitis, etc., near the brow.

What is Ombre Powder Brow?

Ombre powder brows are a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo that creates the illusion of fuller, powder-filled brows. The technique uses a digital machine or handheld tool to insert tiny dots of pigment into the skin. The dots create a gradient effect, resulting in natural-looking, soft, and fluffy brows

Most clients say on a pain level is a 1-3 on a scale to 10. Numbing agents are used throughout the process. Some will experience redness and slight swelling the day of the procedure.

What if I’m not ready for something permanent?

If you would like to start with a brow sculpting session, we can start with a brow mapping session and stain/tint your brows to give you an idea of what your new shape would look like. This is a great way to get a preview of your shape. This is a 45 minute session- once I map out the real deal, we spend a lot more time to make sure everything is super precise.
